Privacy Notice

Trovela SPC (United States)

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This privacy notice explains how Trovela SPC (“Trovela,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information through our website and waitlist. It applies to visitors and waitlist subscribers in the United States.

Trovela is in development and is not yet offering products or services to the public. This notice reflects the limited information we collect at this stage and will be updated before we launch any product.

If you are in the United Kingdom, please see our UK privacy notice at trovela.co.uk/privacy.

Who we are

Trovela SPC is the business responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Trovela SPC is a Social Purpose Corporation organized in the State of Washington.

If you have questions about this notice or how we handle your information, you can contact us by email at privacy@trovela.io, or by mail at Trovela SPC, 100 North Howard Street, Suite R, Spokane, WA 99201.

What information we collect, and why

We collect only the limited personal information needed to operate our waitlist and respond to you. We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as your first name and email address, which you provide when you join our waitlist or contact us.
  • Communications, such as the content of messages you send us through our contact form or by email.
  • Marketing preferences and records of consent, so we can manage the updates you have asked to receive.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account details, government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric, health, or other sensitive personal information through our waitlist.

How we use your information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Send you updates about Trovela’s development and launch, where you have signed up to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Respond to your questions, enquiries, requests, and any complaints.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

Whether we sell or share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, sometimes called targeted advertising. We have not done so in the past, and we do not do so now.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate our waitlist and website, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us. These service providers are:

  • Webflow, Inc. — website hosting and forms platform (United States).
  • ScaleHub (built on GoHighLevel / HighLevel, Inc.) — customer relationship management and email platform that stores our waitlist records and sends our updates (United States).
  • Donorbox (Rebel Idealist, Inc.) — online donation and fundraising platform, for supporters who choose to contribute (United States).

We may also disclose personal information where necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

Where we get personal information from

We collect personal information directly from you, when you join our waitlist, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us. We do not obtain your personal information from third parties.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this notice.

  • Waitlist and marketing information: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, or until our waitlist converts to a launched service and your information is migrated, whichever happens first. If the waitlist remains inactive, we review and delete this information after 24 months.
  • Information kept to meet legal obligations: only for as long as necessary to meet the obligation, and then deleted.
  • Query, complaint, and enquiry information: for as long as needed to address the matter, and for up to 24 months afterwards, after which we delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information under your state’s privacy laws.

California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you, and how we use and disclose it.
  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Request that we delete your personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

We also do not collect sensitive personal information through our waitlist, so the right to limit its use does not apply.

Residents of other U.S. states

If you are a resident of another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law — such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or others — you may have similar rights, including to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. You can exercise these rights in the same way.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@trovela.io. We will respond as required by applicable law, we will not discriminate against you for making a request, and we may need to verify your identity before we act on it.

Children’s privacy

Our website and waitlist are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@trovela.io and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time as Trovela develops. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. A more detailed privacy policy will be provided before we launch any product.
